The Trinity-Ophelia

I'm really curious to see the rest of the Director's Cut...I've got all these assumptions, left lingering. Some things have obviously been left for the imagination...but is the scene at the end meant to represent the trinity? If so, does that make Ophelia a Mary? I think that takes quite some innocence away. I mean she basically bore the baby...if that was Guillermo del Toro's vision.
